Triacta GATEWAY Receives Measurement Canada Approval

The Triacta GATEWAY multi-tenant electrical metering platform has received Measurement Canada approval for billing across Canada.

Approved for Tenant Billing across Canada

The approval is for a multi-customer metering system that can be used for billing electricity to tenants across Canada, under Notice of Approval (NOA) AE-2461.

The Triacta GATEWAY — a highly accurate high density metering platform that can measure, store, and pass on building services information to any and all building management and business applications

Under this NOA, the Triacta GATEWAY is approved as a 2 voltage reference system measuring Delivered and Received Energy in kWh in the following configurations:

  • 48 meters: 1 element, 2 wire multi-customer;
    120-277V, 0.0008-0.08A
  • 16 meters: 2 element 3 wire multi-customer;
    120-277V, 0.0008-0.08A
  • 16 meters: 2 element 3 wire network, multi-customer;
    120-277V, 0.0008-0.08A
  • 16 meters: 2 element 3 wire delta, multi-customer;
    120-277V, 0.0008-0.08A
  • 16 meters: 3 element 4 wire wye, multi-customer;
    120-277V, 0.0008-0.08A
  • 16 meters: 3 element 4 wire delta, multi-customer;
    120-277V, 0.0008-0.08A
