How does it affect you?
Recent Ontario legislation now requires individual electricity metering of existing condominium units. These meter services may be supplied by your local distribution company or a private company licensed by the Ontario Energy Board. Condominiums may also choose to do their own billing and collections. Individual sub metering will allow condominium owners to take more direct control over their own electricity costs.
